Job summary

SEARHC is seeking a Medical Director of Specialty Services in Juneau, AK. This role is 0.5 FTE clinical care and 0.5 FTE medical staff supervision, reporting to the CMO to advance quality, patient experience, and efficient workflows.

Responsibilities include clinical leadership, staff mentoring, and collaboration with specialty and primary care teams to promote access to specialty care across the region.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Alaska.
• DEA Registration.
• Ongoing board certification in primary care or chosen specialty.
• Ongoing current certification for clinical practice (e.g., BLS, PALS, ACLS as required by practice location).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the highest quality evidence-based specialty clinical care for SEARHC patients.
• Provide supervision and guidance to medical staff and practice plans.
• Develop and monitor quality measures and clinical performance.
