Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) seeks a Clinic Supervisor for the Juneau Specialty Clinic to oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate specialty care delivery, and liaise with departments and external providers. The role emphasizes leadership, staffing, and quality improvement within a non-profit health system.

The position requires an Associate degree or 2 years healthcare experience, clinical/compliance knowledge (DNV, HRSA, CMS, HIPAA), and strong supervisory skills to

Qualifications

• Associate degree in health-related field or two years healthcare experience.
• Licensed or Certified in a medical field; Clinical Competency required within 3 months of hire and Manager Competency required within 3 months of hire.
• Two years’ patient care experience; 1 year supervisor experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinic practice management including staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
• Knowledge of regulations (DNV, HRSA, CMS, HIPAA) and risk management principles.
• Excellent administrative, supervisory and organizational skills; strong oral and written communication; cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Directs administrative and professional staff in planning, development, and implementation of day-to-day clinic operations.
• Develops administrative policies and procedures to enhance staff performance.
• Facilitates development of a local management team and ensures communication with staff at all levels.
• Coordinates with departments and external providers to deliver healthcare services.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives and monitors performance against KPIs.
• Manages resources and budget to ensure efficient service within budget.
• Ensures staffing levels and patient access targets are met.
• Provides staff development and training.
