Marriott St Petersburg Clearwater is seeking a Guest Services Associate for a full-time role in Saint Petersburg, FL. The starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with responsibilities in the Executive Lounge, table service, and guest hospitality. The position requires weekend and holiday availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations) Employer will offer this training.
• Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations) Employer will offer this training.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the setup, service, and clean-up of the Executive Lounge.
• Set tables, buffets, bars, and snack breaks in assigned areas correctly and accurately.
• Professionally serve food and beverages tableside and from buffets.
• Monitor tables and buffets to keep them clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exemplary hospitality with professionalism and friendliness.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; answer guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, closing, and other duties as assigned.
