Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking a full-time lounge/server attendant in Petersburg, AK. The role starts at $17.50 per hour and requires weekend and holiday availability to support guest experiences and hotel operations.

You will oversee the Executive Lounge setup, service, and cleanup, ensure tables, buffets, and bars are properly prepared, and professionally serve guests. Proper knowledge of menu items and allergen details is essential.

This is a Full-time position that starts at $17.50 an hour.

Must be able to work some weekends and some holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the setup, service, and clean-up of the Executive Lounge.
• Set tables, buffets, bars, and snack breaks in assigned areas correctly and accurately.
• Professionally serve food and beverages both tableside and from buffets.
• Monitor tables and buffets to ensure they remain clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exemplary hospitality to exceed expectations, while always maintaining professionalism and friendliness.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, closing, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations) Employer will offer this training.
• Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations) Employer will offer this training.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
