Job summary

Darkroom Studios, LLC is seeking a LinkedIn executive content writer to run our executive content program for two brands: Darkroom and Shadow. You will interview executives, ghostwrite posts that sound like them, and plan weekly content across multiple formats.

This hybrid role is based in New York City, with US-only hiring, or remote in New Jersey, Florida, or Texas. You’ll edit to preserve a personal voice while steering clear of marketing speak.

Qualifications

• Ghostwritten for founders or executives on LinkedIn with a voice that matches them.
• Understanding of B2B buyers and their decision processes.
• Ability to write about DTC, performance marketing, retention and AI tooling without a briefing.
• Able to interview a busy executive for 20 minutes and craft a week of posts in multiple voices.
• Sharp editor who removes marketing speak while preserving authentic voice.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn formats and distribution methods (hooks, carousels, native video, comments).
• Daily use of Claude, ChatGPT or similar tools for research and ideation.

Responsibilities

• Run the executive content program across the leadership team with a clear voice and cadence.
• Conduct voice interviews and transform them into posts closely aligned with each executive’s words.
• Create context files detailing voice, expertise, stories and boundaries for each exec.
• Ghostwrite ideas, drafts and approvals for executive posts end to end.
• Manage a single calendar across all executive accounts and avoid topic clashes.
• Coordinate launch-day posts around events and webinars to reinforce messages.
• Adapt formats to text posts, carousels, short video scripts, and repurposed talks.
• Edit every draft to remove marketing speak while preserving authentic voice.
• Analyze what topics and formats perform best and feed insights back into the calendar.
