Job summary

Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) invites applicants to join the Yah Leadership Program, a multi-year executive development track designed for Shareholders and Descendants with exposure to ANCSA-driven strategy, governance, and community partnership.

The program places the fellow with the CEO in year one and pairs them with a senior mentor to craft a personalized development plan. The candidate will engage with ELT on strategic initiatives, lead special projects, and represent CIRI at meetings and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Seven+ years’ experience in business, organizational leadership, finance, operations, legal or related field.
Two years of supervisory experience.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Serve as a bridge for communication between the executive leadership team and internal CIRI departments, maintaining credibility, trust, and support among CIRI staff and leadership.
Work closely with the executive leadership team, including managing special projects.
Participate as an adjunct member of the executive leadership team, including scheduling and attending meetings.
Ensure the executive leadership team is well-informed and well-prepared for upcoming meetings and commitments related to assigned projects.
Lead efforts to build and maintain strategic relationships within CIRI and with CIRI-affiliated entities, current and potential business partners, and the community.
