Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, Inc. is seeking a Chief Operating Officer in Orlando, FL. The COO will lead the executive team, shape BGCCF's strategy, and ensure high-impact program delivery across 39 clubs in five counties.

Responsibilities include operational excellence, financial stewardship with the CFO, risk management, and scaling youth programs while maintaining safety and strong governance. This is an on-site executive role requiring a dynamic, mission-driven leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, non-profit management, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in youth program operations management, nonprofit leadership, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience within the Boys & Girls Clubs movement or similar organization.
• Minimum of three years’ experience working as a senior leader of a nonprofit organization.
• Proven track record of strategic planning and execution in a complex, multi-site organization.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive team to develop and execute BGCCF's strategic vision and plan.
• Provide oversight to ensure operational controls, procedures, and systems support growth.
• Drive funding, improve programming, and guide organizational initiatives.
• Develop policies and SOPs to optimize performance.
• Oversee safety, facilities, and program delivery across clubs.
• Collaborate with CFO on budget, reporting, and donor stewardship.
