SEPTA is seeking an Assistant General Manager of Operations to lead the execution of core transit fundamentals—Safety, Service, and Sanitation—and to guide a long-term transformation toward a Best-in-Class organization across bus, rail, and paratransit services.

The AGM will oversee core operational departments, build workforce pride, and drive a world-class passenger experience through measurable improvements, capital projects, and CX innovations for the Philadelphia region.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred for senior leadership.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible managerial experience in mass transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Re-establishes on-time performance and reliability across bus, rail, and paratransit modes.
• Oversees fleet readiness, preventive maintenance, and health of assets and facilities.
• Drives a safety-first culture with Police and Safety to minimize incidents.
• Manages Operations Division budget and ensures funds support core initiatives.
• Sets KPIs to benchmark against top transit agencies and partners with senior staff on strategy.
