Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a School Director to lead special and alternative education programs in the Bullitt County area.

You will supervise teachers, ensure curriculum alignment with IEPs, and work with parents and districts to advance student outcomes. The role requires a Master’s degree in Education or related field, extensive experience with students with disabilities, and strong leadership, budgeting, and policy implementation skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or related field required.
• Administration credential preferred.
• Extensive experience with students with disabilities strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure academic policies and curriculum are followed.
• Develop and track benchmarks for institutional success.
• Help teachers maximize teaching potential.
• Meet with parents and administrators regularly for problem resolution.
• Enforce discipline and maintain a bias-free environment.
• Lead IEP meetings and coordinate with teachers and parents.
• Develop and monitor the school budget and financial reports.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure compliant policies and staff development.
• Oversee enrollment, facilities, and daily school operations.
• Drive PBIS program development and provide guidance to staff.
