Job summary

Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay in Virginia Beach seeks a Sr Director of Home and Community Based Services to lead Home Health, Hospice, and Home Care. The role ensures high-quality, compliant, and financially sustainable services while guiding growth and staff engagement.

The position reports to the President of Senior Options & WCAH and requires RN or healthcare administration background, strong KPI management, budgeting, and collaboration with clinical, financial, and operational

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
Active RN license in Virginia or compact state.
Minimum 5–10 years of leadership in Medicare-certified home health or hospice, with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day oversight of Home Health, Hospice, and Home Care operations.
Ensure seamless coordination across service lines to support transitions and continuum of care.
Establish and monitor KPIs including census, admissions, visit utilization, and productivity.
Drive operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of care and service delivery.
Develop and manage operating budgets for all programs.
Monitor financial performance including revenue, labor, productivity, and cost per visit.
Oversee policy and procedure development and implementation.
Identify opportunities for program growth and market expansion.
Lead and develop interdisciplinary teams across service lines.
