Job summary

Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield seeks an enterprise technology leader to define and execute our platform, architecture, cloud, data and AI strategy. You will drive automation, secure software delivery, and reusable capabilities across the organization, partnering with the CIO and executives to balance innovation, risk, cost and value.

You will lead a team of experts, establish governance, and create a product-like mindset for platform services, delivering measurable business outcomes and faster

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, business administration, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years aligning enterprise technology, platform, architecture, cloud, data, AI, or engineering strategy with business objectives.
• 5+ years of senior leadership experience in a complex enterprise.
• Strong business and financial acumen; translate tech choices into enterprise value.
• Experience leading automation, DevSecOps, and secure software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise platforms, architecture, and engineering strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Align investments, governance, and accountability for measurable outcomes.
• Lead transformation to simplify landscapes and accelerate delivery across the organization.
• Build and lead a high-performing organization of leaders and technical professionals.
• Drive adoption of AI at enterprise scale with secure, governed data/AI platforms.
• Operate with clear objectives, data-driven priorities, and measurable value.
