CoServ seeks a Director of Critical Infrastructure to lead Substation Engineering, Electric and Gas Control Center, and Distribution Automation functions. The role oversees asset lifecycle management, OT platforms, and control center operations to ensure safe, reliable utility service and emergency readiness.

You will develop departmental staff, manage budgets, supervise consultants, and coordinate with regulators and stakeholders to align with CoServ tariffs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 12+ years utility distribution/operations experience with 3+ years in leadership.
• TX Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Ensure departmental functions are performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with utility practices, codes, regulations, and CoServ policies.
• Supervise and lead departmental managers, coaching and holding them accountable for results.
• Develop workforce plans, succession strategies, and technical development programs.
• Oversee annual operating and capital budgets for Substation and Gas Critical Infrastructure, Electric and Gas Control Center, and Distribution Automation.
• Direct preparation of engineering plans for substations and gas regulation stations; manage project cost estimates.
• Direct development of equipment standards and best practices; oversee asset lifecycle management and risk-based capital prioritization.
• Coordinate maintenance strategies with internal/external stakeholders to ensure reliability and performance.
• Oversee SCADA, communications and OT platforms to support data accuracy and readiness.
• Provide technical input and testimony for regulatory proceedings within assigned areas.
• Represent CoServ on technical committees and ensure compliance with NERC, NEC, OSHA and ERCOT requirements.
