Job summary

The City of Baltimore seeks a Deputy Director for the Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services to lead advocacy, program oversight, and coordination with officials and community partners. The position supervises senior teams, manages multi-organizational collaboration, and guides funding and policy implementation to advance MOHS’s mission.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public policy, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Law or related field.
• Six years of senior management and policy-driven operational responsibilities including three years in affordable housing and homeless services.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes MOHS advocacy agenda with the Agency Director.
• Oversees leaders of Emergency Services, Programs, Partnership & Policy.
• Manages relationships with elected officials, federal/state agencies and community partners.
