Job summary

SPS Commerce, a leading cloud-based supply chain provider in Minneapolis, seeks a Sr. Director, Professional Services & Delivery. You will own delivery for retailer onboarding, SOW work, and the technical consulting function, guiding a ~85-person organization through a strategic evolution.

You’ll align Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure scoped work matches delivery, build pricing models, and enable IT-driven project execution at scale. Hybrid role with travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in professional services leadership within enterprise SaaS or tech services.
• Proven ability to re-engineer delivery models to reflect value and effort.
• Strong experience aligning Sales, PMO and delivery functions across large engagements.
• Experience holding customer IT or technical stakeholders accountable with governance and cadence.

Responsibilities

• Own full delivery accountability for net-new onboarding and SOW work across the installed base, leading PMO, solution architecture, and technical consulting.
• Evolve the delivery organization toward greater technical aptitude and tooling, engaging customer IT directly and driving projects through IT.
• Partner with Sales during deal cycles to ensure what is sold matches what can be delivered and avoid over-commitment.
• Own evolving professional services pricing and packaging to reflect actual value delivered.
• Manage the boundary between technical delivery and customer-facing engagement with clean handoffs.
• Build program management discipline and tooling to provide visibility into project status and next steps.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on IT-facing capability roadmap to reduce repetitive work and shift to higher-value engagements.
• Develop and own a buy-side integration strategy for retailers and buyers onboarded to the SPS network.
• Represent Professional Services & Delivery in cross-functional planning with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Testing & Certification, and leadership.
• Recruit, develop, and retain delivery leadership as the team scales to the next operating model.
