Job summary

Early Warning is seeking a Senior Program Manager to deliver large, complex programs by aligning interrelated projects with strategic goals. You’ll establish governance, track progress, assess risks, and ensure delivery within time, cost, and quality targets.

The role requires extensive PMO experience and ability to mentor others. Hybrid work is offered in Scottsdale and other major hubs; you will collaborate with stakeholders across finance, risk, and technology to optimize program outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management and/or Computer Science or related field.
• PMP certification or related certifications or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 8+ years of related experience in program management
• Demonstrated program management experience and people leadership and mentorship
• Experience in financial institutions or similarly regulatory industries and/or software development environments
• Ability to handle multiple complex projects within program(s) independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills for executive leadership, staff and vendors
• Proactive in identifying and driving process improvements and documenting efficiency gains
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and SDLC tools

Responsibilities

• Understand Portfolio priorities and drive outcomes within the program and aligned projects
• Manage multiple interrelated projects to support strategic objectives
• Align project plans and interdependencies for Program Roadmap success
• Conduct program-level governance reviews to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Monitor progress and mitigate risks across the program
• Establish best practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships
• Coach PMO team on policies, procedures and best practices
• Support audits of projects within the program
• Engage cross-project interdependency scheduling and document milestones
• Provide leadership and communicate program milestones and outcomes to executives
• Create and maintain master program plan with status reporting on milestones and risks
