Job summary

Columbia University in the City of New York is seeking an Officer of Administration to support the Center for Career Education. You will develop experiential learning programs, manage internship opportunities with employers, and provide counseling to undergraduates across three Columbia schools.

The role requires collaboration with multiple teams and some evening hours. Responsibilities include program logistics, employer engagement, student recruitment, and travel to foster relationships with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience.
At least 3 years in career services, student affairs, graduate recruitment, university relations or marketing.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Attention to detail, collaborative work, ability to manage multiple constituencies and meet deadlines.
Availability to work some evenings throughout the year.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate internship and experiential education programs with employers.
Support student engagement and recruitment for Experiential Education programs.
Develop activities to help students prepare for experiences and evaluate outcomes.
Provide individual and group career counseling to undergraduates across three schools.
Travel on behalf of CCE to build relationships with employers and Columbia.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
