Columbia University in the City of New York is seeking an EAR professional to support employer and alumni engagement with undergraduate students. You will manage relationships, plan visits, and help coordinate on-campus and virtual recruiting activities across multiple Columbia schools.

Responsibilities include building active employer pipelines, delivering programs, analyzing industry trends, and coordinating events with cross-functional teams to support student career development.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Master's degree preferred for higher-level roles.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a team-based environment to build relationships with employers and alumni interested in engaging in both in-person and virtual career programs and activities managed through CCE.
• Manage a portfolio of employer relationships across assigned industries, developing engagement plans and goals based on employer needs, student interests, recruiting activity, and CCE priorities.
• Report on industry trends; provide information and data on employers to staff at CCE, Columbia students, and other key stakeholders; disseminate trends via meetings, online, and CRM systems.
• Manage a highly active cohort of employers and alumni who recruit Columbia students; develop opportunities for engagement beyond traditional recruiting activities.
• Iterate and improve processes for on-campus and virtual recruiting events; implement training for EAR and other staff; lead assessment initiatives for these activities.
• Collaborate with the Experiential Education Team to source employers for internships and site visits; coordinate outreach across CCE.
• Maintain accurate employer, alumni, outreach, and engagement activity in Salesforce, Handshake, and other systems; use data to support reporting and decision making.
• Participate in student career advising initiatives and develop innovative programs, media, workshops, and opportunities for industry focus areas.
• Assist in planning and coordinating employer events such as career fairs; support logistics and outreach to student clubs.
