Montage International seeks a Chef de Cuisine for Pendry Natirar in NJ. Lead kitchen operations, oversee menus, and manage costs while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

This role requires strong leadership, creative menu development, and strict adherence to safety standards. You will guide a team of chefs, coordinate with the Executive Chef on culinary concepts, and drive profitability with quality and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of culinary supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and order all items for all menus and maintain inventory systems.
• Oversee kitchen operations with sous chefs and cooks.
• Implement cost controls and optimize labor costs.
• Develop menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef and ensure food presentation quality.
• Ensure safety and sanitation policies are followed.
