Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Banquet Chef to lead culinary operations for high-end events at Pendry. You will prepare and oversee all banquet items, manage inventory, and supervise sous chefs and cooks to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will drive production flow, maintain standards, and contribute to WOW moments across banquets and events, while collaborating with the Executive Steward and BEO teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years culinary supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience in luxury hotel settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and order all items for Banquet Event Orders, create order sheets and inventory systems to ensure stock levels.
• Manage inventory and equipment with the Executive Steward for events.
• Execute production and plating to meet guest expectations.
• Attend BEO meetings and oversee banquet production flow.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise sous chefs and cooks.
• Lead and assist in food preparation during banquets and events.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen areas and comply with codes.
• Prepare kitchen work schedules and daily production estimates.
• Oversee employee dining room menus and experiences.
• Maintain purchasing, receiving, and storage standards.
• Create WOW moments and perform additional duties as needed.
