Job summary

Kansas Leadership Center seeks a Senior Director of IT and Data Strategy to lead the strategic design and execution of IT, data governance, and analytics across the organization. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• At least 8–10 years of progressively responsible information technology experience, including a minimum of 3–5 years in a senior IT leadership role such as IT Director, IT Manager, or similar.
• Proven track record developing and executing an enterprise-wide IT strategic plan and roadmaps.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience budgeting, vendor negotiation, and IT cost forecasting.
• Proven experience building and leading IT staff and managing organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Operations Team, devising strategies for mission-alignment and operational excellence.
• Create the vision and manage the design and implementation of MERL to meet business needs.
• Identify strategic data needs and support MERL efforts across the enterprise.
• Partner with C-level and Executive Team to determine analytics needs for dashboards and reporting.
• Oversee IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud, workstations, and phones.
• Ensure data security, privacy, access controls, backups, and incident response.
