Job summary

Saia is seeking an analytics leader to manage analytics, reporting, and data research across functions. You will design and implement new reporting capabilities, delivering targeted analyses and insights for functional partners.

You will lead a team of business analysts, drive BI initiatives, and oversee data collection from customers and vendor relationships to support sales, operations, and marketing automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, mathematics, marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of business analytics or related experience.
• Proficiency in BI tools, reporting technologies, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Partners with various business areas to understand analytics needs and deliver data-driven insights.
• Leads analytics, reporting, and research to uncover key findings across business functions.
• Manages and mentors a team of business analysts.
• Oversees design, testing, validation, and implementation of new reporting options.
• Develops and measures key performance indicators for the sales organization.
• Drives business intelligence initiatives by developing detailed reports and dashboards using advanced data visualization tools.
• Directs voice of the customer data collection, analysis, and vendor relationships.
• Advances sales, operations, customer service, and marketing automation initiatives.
