Job summary

Cursor is seeking a Forward Deployed Strategist to own our most strategic customer engagements from the initial workshop through delivery. You will sit with executive sponsors, surface high-value use cases, and translate them into tightly scoped projects with clear ROI, partnering with the FDE to ensure practical, production-ready solutions.

You will stay hands-on across configuration, workflows, integrations, and platform tooling, translating technical builds into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Solutions Architecture, Deployment Strategy, technical consulting, or Engagement Manager roles owning scoping and delivery with a technical team in AI-production workflows.
• Strong understanding of agentic coding and LLMs, ability to work with senior engineers in production settings.
• Comfort with Cursor workflows, integrations, and platform configuration; reading Python/JS-TS for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Scope engagements with executive sponsors, translating business problems into time-boxed, ROI-driven deliverables.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture reviews to validate feasibility and plan complex integrations.
• Own the technical build alongside FDEs, including workflows, settings, and platform tooling.
• Drive adoption through hands-on enablement, playbooks, and reference workflows.
• Maintain executive relationships from kickoff to handoff and communicate roadmap implications.
