Job summary

Midlands Regional Center in Columbia, SC, seeks a senior leader to oversee program and fiscal management of a state-operated ICF-IID, supervising facility administrative staff.

Responsibilities include ensuring continuous active treatment, policy compliance, and engagement with families to support community integration, with oversight of CMS and DOL requirements and ongoing communication of policy changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field.
• At least three (3) years experience working with people who have disabilities.
• At least one (1) year of experience in supervision/administration.

Responsibilities

• Guides regional center directors and personnel with responsibilities impacting facility operations and CMS/ICF-IID compliance.
• Engages employees to build trust, establish clear roles, and drive accountable performance.
• Develops KPI to measure quality and risk management across HR, surveys, ANE incidents, CPIP, and fiscal reporting.
• Helps ensure uniformity across Regional Centers and aligns with an organization structure.
• Identifies improvement projects with milestones and communicates status to senior management.
• Ensures compliance with labor laws and WIOA across state-operated ICFs-IID.
• Conducts regular site visits to assess services and address needs; supports licensing and certification standards.
• Performs special administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Facility Operations.
