Job summary

The client—a large, established manufacturing organization—seeks a seasoned Director of Human Resources to lead HR strategy and operations across a multi-site environment. This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can build strong teams, coach executives, and drive initiatives that improve business performance.

Location is Portland Metro Area (Onsite). Compensation includes a $185,000 base with 30% bonus potential and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years HR leadership experience including 7+ years at Director level.
• Multi-site manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.
• Expertise in employment law, employee relations, organizational development, and change management.
• Experience supporting executive leadership and hourly populations.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, Master’s degree, UKG experience, and bilingual Spanish are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior HR leader and strategic partner to operations leadership.
• Lead organizational development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Oversee employee relations, compliance, investigations, compensation, benefits, and talent acquisition.
• Drive workforce planning and organizational design strategies that support business growth.
• Utilize HR metrics and business data to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
• Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR team.
