Job summary

The Barnett in New Orleans Warehouse District seeks a Housekeeping Manager to lead daily housekeeping operations, supervise supervisors, and ensure cleanliness, productivity, and service standards across rooms and public areas.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, with at least 2 years in hotel housekeeping and 1 year in a supervisory role, strong leadership, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and proficiency in HyGEO/Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years housekeeping experience in a hotel.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience with housekeeping or property management systems (HyGEO, Opera Cloud) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and coaching to Housekeeping Supervisors.
• Support training, development, and evaluation of housekeeping staff.
• Reinforce standards and address performance concerns with the Executive Housekeeper.
• Maintain hands-on leadership, working alongside staff to support operational needs.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering to ensure room readiness and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing daily productivity, staffing, and inventory controls.
