Highgate Hotels is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team across our New York properties. You will drive cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence, coordinating with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry to ensure flawless guest experiences.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, attention to detail, and experience managing large teams in luxury or high-volume hotels in New York, with a commitment to safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred.
• Housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel, resort, healthcare, or similar environment.
• Experience in full-service, luxury, lifestyle, or high-volume New York hotels preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills with a passion for guest service.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department per Highgate standards, policies, and service expectations.
• Recruit, supervise, coach, and support room attendants, house attendants, and other team members.
• Consistently meet brand cleanliness, quality, and safety standards.
• Conduct daily inspections, monitor room readiness, and manage large room turns and VIP arrivals.
• Partner with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry and other departments for seamless operations.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, payroll, inventories, purchasing, and department expenses.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings, ongoing training, and performance coaching.
• Ensure compliance with safety and risk management practices.
