Job summary

The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha is seeking an Executive Housekeeper who refuses to settle for “good enough.” You’ll lead a high‑performing housekeeping team, uphold Kimpton standards, and create spotless spaces that guests notice and remember. You’ll build a culture of accountability, coach talent, and set daily examples of excellence, while managing scheduling, budgets, and safety.

This is a hands‑on leadership role in a premier property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of housekeeping management experience in a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing housekeeping team.
• Create a culture where attention to detail isn't just encouraged—it's expected.
• Ensure every guest room and public space consistently exceeds Kimpton standards.
• Conduct inspections with a sharp eye and a high standard.
• Develop efficient processes that improve quality while supporting your team's success.
• Manage labor, budgets, inventory, and supplies with confidence.
• Partner with Front Office, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Sales to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Champion safety, cleanliness, and organization throughout the hotel.
• Celebrate wins, develop future leaders, and motivate your team daily.
