Job summary

Ivy Hospitality in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service for all guest rooms and public areas. You will manage daily operations, schedule staff, coordinate VIP check-outs, and perform routine inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Reports to the Assistant General Manager or General Manager.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum three years in housekeeping with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and housekeeping management software.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 15 lbs and push/pull carts up to 250 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the housekeeping team to ensure timely cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including VIP rooms, check-outs, and special requests.
• Review daily room cleaning and inspections to meet company standards.
• Inspect cleaned rooms and public areas for quality assurance.
• Address issues related to room cleanliness or maintenance promptly.
• Monitor room inspection results and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies and linens.
• Prepare and follow up on maintenance work orders for repairs or replacements.
• Assist in training and orientation of new housekeeping associates.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
