Job summary

Ivy Hospitality in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas. You will manage daily operations, inspections, and training to ensure timely cleaning and exceptional guest experiences.

This role requires 3+ years in housekeeping with supervisory experience, strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage inventory and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Three years of housekeeping experience with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to lead a team and interact with guests.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 15 lbs, and push/pull carts up to 250 lbs.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and housekeeping management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the housekeeping team to ensure timely cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including VIP rooms, guest check-outs, and special requests.
• Review and confirm daily room cleaning and inspections to meet company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaned rooms and public areas for quality adherence.
• Address and resolve issues related to room cleanliness or maintenance promptly.
• Monitor and document room inspection results and provide feedback.
• Manage inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and linens.
• Prepare and follow up on maintenance work orders for repairs.
