Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four+ years hotel housekeeping experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Two+ years of experience at an IHG hotel preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong leadership and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills for completing reports, checklists, schedules, and inventory records.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily housekeeping operations.
• Assign daily duties and conduct housekeeping shift meetings.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces for cleanliness and compliance with IHG brand standards.
• Supervise, train, coach, and assist housekeeping team members.
• Coordinate room status and guest requests with the front desk.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to the maintenance department.
• Ensure vacuums, housekeeping carts, laundry machines, and other equipment are properly maintained.
• Monitor housekeeping and laundry supplies and place orders as needed.
• Track guest-loaned items, including cribs and rollaway beds.
• Maintain accurate inspection checklists, inventory logs, training records, and other required documentation.
• Monitor compliance with safety, sanitation, key-control, and guest-privacy policies.
• Respond to guest concerns professionally and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with cleaning rooms, laundry, or other housekeeping duties when needed.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the General Manager.
