Job Description:

The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for managing daily Housekeeping operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our teams when needed, living our “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.” philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Focus on ways to promote and engage in internal growth programs.
  2. Continuously exemplify and live by our Culture.
  3. Meet/exceed company goals and metrics.
  4. Complete all required training.
  5. Adhere to all standard operating procedures and brand standards.
  6. Perform duties to aid hotel operations and guest service.
  7. Provide friendly, personalized service to guests and staff.
  8. Schedule staff based on occupancy forecasts.
  9. Hire, train, supervise, reward, discipline, and evaluate staff.
  10. Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, report deficiencies.
  11. Inspect rooms and public areas for standards compliance.
  12. Report discrepancies and incidents.
  13. Manage keys, lost & found, linen inventories, and supplies.
  14. Coordinate with other departments and assist as needed.
  15. Handle guest questions courteously.
  16. Maintain knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Necessary Skills:

  1. Maintain confidentiality of business functions.
  2. Ensure safety and security of guests, staff, and assets.
  3. Knowledge of fire safety procedures.
  4. Effective communication skills.
  5. Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, holidays.
  6. Organized, honest, team-oriented.
  7. Maintain personal and work area cleanliness.
  8. Ability to work with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  9. Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 40 pounds, and working in extreme conditions.
  10. Good eyesight, dexterity, and communication skills.
  11. Integrity, humility, and dedication to service and community.
