We Are Looking for an EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER – A Key Figure in Hotel Operations!

STARTING: JUNE 1, 2025

Swissôtel Mariánské Lázně brings to the Czech Republic a top-notch hotel concept that combines Swiss precision with exceptional hospitality.

We are proud that our hotel is the first in the Czech Republic under the prestigious Swissôtel brand and we are looking for an experienced EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER to lead the housekeeping team.

In September, we are opening a premium hotel with 125 rooms and suites. The hotel will also include the 105 Dining Lounge, The Bohemian Bar, our Swiss Café and the rooftop terrace "Pod Oblaky" Lifestyle Lounge. In addition, the hotel will include three conference rooms and a boardroom. Another highlight of the hotel will be the Pürovel Spa & Sport, which combines Swiss precision with the spa tradition of Mariánské Lázně.

This unique opportunity combines Swissôtel's international reputation with the history of the spa town.

We are looking for a leader who will ensure the smooth running of the cleaning service, set the highest standards of service and create the perfect impression for our guests.

As an Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping department. Your main task will be to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service in hotel rooms and public areas in compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.

What Will Be Your Responsibilities?

  • Efficient management of the housekeeping department and daily operations.
  • Quality control of services and implementation of new processes to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Recruiting, training, and motivating employees with a focus on their development and job satisfaction.
  • Planning and overseeingcleanliness, and the aesthetic quality of rooms and public areas.
  • Managing supplies, optimizing costs, and cooperating with suppliers.
  • Ensuring compliance with the hotel's environmental and sustainability initiatives.
  • Managingthe wardrobe of the Heartists as well as linen used in the venues
  • Preparing the departmental forecast and budget
  • Responsible for themed decorations in the hotel

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For? Ideal Candidate:

  • Our ideal Executive Housekeeper is an experienced professional with a passion for excellence and an eye for detail.
  • Has the appropriate education - hotel management or a similar field.
  • Speaks languages – Czech and English; knowledge of German or Russian or other languages is an advantage.
  • Has experience - at least 3 years in a similar position in the hotel industry.
  • Is a natural leader - leads by example, can motivate his team and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Has organizational and communication skills - can plan, solve problems and communicate with guests and suppliers.
  • Is guest-oriented - always strives to ensure maximum comfort and excellent service, can professionally resolve comments and complaints.
  • Has an eye for detail - oversees every aspect of the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel premises, no imperfection escapes him.
