Job summary

Courtyard New Haven at Yale is seeking a hands-on Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team, ensuring guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay.

You’ll oversee daily housekeeping operations, coach and develop team members, and maintain high standards across guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and supplies. This is a great opportunity for a hospitality leader who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and knows that the details make the difference.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel housekeeping experience, preferably with a branded or luxury hotel.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, proper storage, and safety procedures.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and motivate the housekeeping team.
• Oversee daily cleaning operations for guest rooms and public areas.
• Ensure Marriott brand standards and cleanliness expectations are consistently met.
• Monitor room quality, productivity, supplies, and department performance.
• Work closely with Front Office and other departments to support a smooth guest experience.
• Address guest and team member concerns professionally and promptly.
• Maintain proper safety, chemical handling, and sanitation practices.
