The candidate should be independent, discreet, and warm with children, ready to help keep the home calm and running smoothly. The position offers two days per week (Mon/Wed or Mon/Fri) from 12:00 PM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• Maintain a smoke-free environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable personal transportation required.
• Ability to navigate multiple flights of stairs throughout the day.
• Vaccinations up to date per CDC guidelines, with accommodations where required.

Responsibilities

• Household management and organization: create and maintain systems; daily resets; light tidying; seasonal swaps.
• Inventory and errands: restock essentials; manage lists; returns and dry cleaning.
• Laundry and linen care: wash, fold, iron; keep areas tidy.
• Meal planning and prep: light oversight; grocery shopping; accommodate gluten-free needs; kitchen cleanup.
• Pet care: monitor cat’s food and supplies.
• Deep cleaning and special projects: refresh entryways; organize closets and gear.
• Family support and child assistance: prep backpacks; occasional date-night supervision; backup 5:00 PM pick-up.
• Administrative support: manage household calendar and proactive reminders.
• Vehicle management: track vehicle registration.
