Job summary

Shaner Hotels seeks a Director of Sales at Four Points by Sheraton Newark Airport to drive new account development and promote the property. You will lead the Sales Department to generate top-line revenue and manage budgeting and programs.

The role requires at least five years in sales in hospitality, strong communication, budgeting, and market knowledge. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; a valid driver's license is required. Flexibility for weekends and travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in sales (hospitality preferred).
• Ability to communicate with guests, management and coworkers clearly.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in hospitality management or business.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Meet hotel financial goals and budget targets.
• Ensure compliance with daily operational procedures by the Sales department.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and inform the Sales team.
• Attend trade shows and local events to promote hotel services.
• Manage performance and budget of the Sales Department.
• Communicate with General Manager and other Department Managers.
