Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in West Palm Beach, a Compass Group company, seeks an experienced Healthcare Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality patient and staff meals in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role focuses on menu planning, standardized recipes, staff training, inventory control, and compliance with health regulations while maintaining a commitment to service excellence and cost containment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Hands-on chef experience required.
• Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations.
• ServSafe certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan regular and modified menus according to guidelines.
• Follow standardized recipes, portioning and presentation; use production worksheets and waste logs.
• Train kitchen staff in food safety, equipment operation, and sanitation.
• Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Manage inventory within guidelines to ensure availability.
• Decide how to utilize leftover food per company guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations and audits.
• Follow safety policies and participate in meetings and development.
