Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support clinic operations on the Day shift. The role includes patient prep, vital signs, documentation, and assisting with procedures and immunizations under provider direction.

Requires completion of an accredited MA program and certification within 12 months (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, NPCE MA). BLS within 3 months and mandatory reporter training within 3 months are required.

Qualifications

• Must complete an accredited medical assistant program.
• Must obtain CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or NPCE MA certification within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office; able to navigate electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, collect vital signs, and document in medical records.
• Administer medications and immunizations under supervision of providers.
• Schedule tests, procedures, and follow-ups; coordinate with physicians.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and assist with procedures as needed.
