Job summary

Trinity Health seeks a Medical Assistant to deliver patient care, perform vital signs, and assist with procedures in a daily day-shift role. You will prepare patient charts, coordinate labs and imaging, and support providers with immunizations and documentation.

The position requires completing an accredited MA program, obtaining one of several MA certifications within a year, and maintaining patient confidentiality while upholding a compassionate, team-based approach.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a medical assistant program accredited by CAAHP or ABHES.
• Must obtain one of the listed MA certifications within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in Windows, web navigation, email, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through preparation, vital signs collection, and documentation.
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations under provider direction.
• Prepare and organize patient charts and ensure documentation is complete.
• Coordinate schedules for procedures, labs, x-rays, and surgeries; provide pre/post-surgery information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to standards and policies.
