Job summary

Salem State University seeks an Executive Functioning (EF) Coach for its Community of Inclusive Scholars (CIS) program within MAIPSE. The role provides individualized support to college students with intellectual and developmental disabilities enrolled in inclusive postsecondary education.

The coach fosters student engagement across academics, social activities, and internships. The position is a 10-month grant-funded role beginning in August, with up to 30 hours per week and two vacancies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations in a postsecondary setting.
• Availability to adapt to flexible schedules based on student needs and campus events.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, inclusive support to CIS students in academics, social, and vocational activities.
• Facilitate engagement, independence, self-advocacy, and transition to employment or further education.
