Job summary

The Condado Collection in Puerto Rico is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage leader to oversee restaurant operations, guest experience, and cost controls. You will lead recruitment, training, and performance management of F&B staff while ensuring compliance with brand standards and safety policies.

Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, you will drive service excellence across outlets, collaborate with vendors to optimize purchasing, and mentor a diverse team to deliver memorable guest

Qualifications

• Guest-first hospitality orientation and service mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Experience across restaurant functions including purchasing, sanitation, safety, adherence to policies, personnel management, recordkeeping, and reporting.
• 4+ years in F&B management with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, mixology, and beverage programs.
• Ability to manage pressure, multitask, and meet operational demands.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage departmental financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, and invoice control.
• Maintain full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and liquor control regulations.
• Ensure guest touchpoints meet brand and quality standards.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of F&B staff.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to elevate service excellence and employee capability.
• Foster a positive team culture with empowerment and accountability.
• Address guest concerns promptly and model service standards.
• Build guest relationships through proactive engagement and service recovery actions.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and optimize purchasing for cost and quality.
• Maintain staffing levels aligned with needs and financial goals.
• Monitor productivity and establish performance expectations and guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement through guest satisfaction metrics and operational data.
• Adhere to F&B policies and brand standards across outlets.
• Coordinate maintenance and cleanliness across F&B areas.
• Oversee service delivery from entry to departure and fulfill special requests.
• Coordinate events and ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Apply problem-solving to evaluate information and resolve issues.
• Stay current on industry trends to enhance F&B performance.
