Job summary

The Contractor Consultants is seeking an Estimating & Operations Director to lead estimating, project execution, field operations, scheduling, purchasing, and financial performance. This executive role reports to the Owner and drives profitability while aligning operations with strategic goals.

You will oversee teams across estimating, management, and service/installation activities, ensuring accurate estimates, profitable projects, and strong vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership within automatic doors, storefront glazing, or related construction industries.
• Strong estimating ability for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracts.
• Knowledge of installation, service, inspection, and troubleshooting in the automatic door sector.
• Familiarity with ADA, building codes, life safety and OSHA standards.
• Experience managing multiple teams and budgets, from estimating to completion.
• Proficiency with estimating software and business systems; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee estimating and preconstruction activities, review plans, scope, and requirements.
• Lead project and operations management from award through closeout.
• Coordinate technicians, installers, subcontractors, and purchasing; monitor budgets and schedules.
• Drive profitability, efficiency, and internal process improvements.
• Develop relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners; provide reporting to ownership.
