Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our commercial overhead door service and installation operations. This hands-on role manages field technicians, installation crews, scheduling, job performance, customer satisfaction, and overall operational profitability.

The ideal candidate knows the commercial door business and can drive projects while keeping customers satisfied and operations profitable. Strong leadership, safety, and cost-control focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial overhead door, dock equipment, or closely related industry experience.
• Experience managing service technicians or installation crews.
• Strong knowledge of deployment, installation, service, and troubleshooting for commercial doors.
• Experience with sectional doors, rolling steel doors, operators, high-speed doors, and loading dock equipment.
• Proven leadership with ability to manage multiple crews and projects.
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily service, repair, maintenance, and installation operations.
• Lead and develop service technicians, installers, and field crews.
• Coordinate scheduling, manpower, materials, vehicles, and equipment.
• Monitor technician productivity, labor utilization, overtime, callbacks, and job performance.
• Review work orders, project scopes, and installation requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field teams.
• Ensure projects and service calls are completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.
• Monitor job costing, labor performance, and gross margins.
• Work closely with Sales, Estimating, Dispatch, and Purchasing.
• Resolve escalated customer and field issues.
• Recruit, train, coach, and hold field personnel accountable.
• Maintain strong safety, quality, and customer service standards.

Experience with companies or manufacturers such asOverhead Door, DH Pace, Wayne Dalton, Miner, CornellCookson, Clopay, Amarr, Rytec, TNR, LiftMaster, Genie, or similar commercial door and dock organizations is highly desirable
