Job summary

You will engage with hospital staff, patients, families, and other departments to identify and resolve concerns, and you will ensure staff performance, regulatory readiness, and budget adherence. The role requires a strong commitment to the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, with ongoing training and timely reporting of issues.

Qualifications

• 4 years of RN experience required.
• 3-5 years management experience required.
• Must adhere to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct with required trainings and reporting.
• Texas RN licensure (or compact state license) required; BSN preferred within predetermined time after transfer.
• Maintains required certifications per unit needs (AHA programs).

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing and clinical staff within the department.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation readiness across the team.
• Maintain staff schedules, payroll, orientation, staff meetings, and policies.
• Manage budget compliance and variances; participate in performance improvement.
• Support staff during off-hours as needed and coordinate with hospital departments.
