Job summary

Waterfall Technology Consulting Partners LLC seeks a Director of Emergency Services to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the Emergency Department. This full-time, salaried role oversees operations, staffing, finances, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and service line growth while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

This position is a full-time, salaried, benefited role with dayshift hours, no weekends, and opportunities to lead collaboration

Qualifications

• BSN degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the applicable state or multi-state compact license.
• Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Minimum three years of trauma nursing leadership experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of ER RN work experience in an inpatient acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of Emergency Department operations.
• Ensure safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and clinical standards.
• Optimize patient throughput, staffing, and operational efficiency.
• Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Champion patient experience initiatives.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing leaders and staff.
• Partner with physicians and executive leadership on strategic growth.
• Manage departmental budgets, labor, productivity, supplies, and capital resources.
