Job summary

Amazon is seeking a client lead recruiter to influence leadership teams across its expansive technology landscape. You will advise Directors and VPs, shape external senior engineering talent strategies, and drive confidential searches with cross‑functional impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of executive recruiting experience at corporate or search firms.
• 5+ years of executive-level technical recruiting experience.
• 5+ years advising and influencing executive leadership.
• 5+ years advising and influencing leadership at senior levels.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary talent advisor to Directors and VPs, educating leaders on external senior engineering talent landscape and market dynamics.
• Define and deliver recruiting strategies for highly critical, confidential roles with cross‑organizational impact.
• Identify and engage passive senior engineering candidates through sourcing strategies.
• Build talent networks across technology sectors, leveraging industry knowledge and relationships.
• Lead client update meetings with data-driven insights on active searches, progress, and market conditions.
• Provide candid guidance to executive leadership on top technical talent matters.
• Assess candidate fit through analysis of technical depth and leadership impact.
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments, debriefs, references, and present offers.
• Coach leaders to improve senior-level TA capabilities.
• Set high standards for search quality and recruiting excellence.
• Investigate technical domains and market trends to inform strategy.
