Job summary

KLAS Research in Utah seeks an experienced Event Manager to turn leadership’s vision into well-run events, coordinating details from planning to follow-up. You’ll lead assigned events, support others, and help improve event processes over time.

You will partner with the executive team to define goals, lead event teams, manage budgets, arrange travel, contracts, and risk mitigation, ensuring high-quality deliverables and post-event insights.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the executive team to define event goals and plans.
• Lead event teams by setting direction, timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate with sponsors, venues, executives, and other stakeholders.
• Develop event budgets and monitor expenses to stay within budget.
• Coordinate participant travel and venue contracts and orders.
• Identify risks and address them to keep events on schedule.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality expectations and gather post-event feedback.
• Document best practices to improve future event planning.
