Job summary
Multnomah Athletic Foundation (MAF) is a public nonprofit focused on expanding youth participation in sports and education through community outreach and scholarships across Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties. The Executive Director leads fundraising, strategy, grants, and day-to-day operations with the Board and volunteers to expand reach and impact.
We seek an experienced nonprofit leader who can build community relationships, secure major gifts, oversee budgets, and represent MAF
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in progressive nonprofit leadership and governance.
- 5+ years fundraising and major gifts experience.
- 5+ years financial management and budgeting oversight.
- Strong relationship-building and public engagement.
- Strategic planning and organizational leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Set bold vision and strategic direction for the Foundation.
- Lead fundraising, donor relations, and major gifts programs.
- Oversee grants, scholarships, and program impact.
- Collaborate with the Board and committees.
- Ensure sustainable operations and financial stewardship.
