Job summary

Augusta Teen Center seeks a passionate leader to oversee and grow engaging programs for teens in Augusta. You will create a safe, welcoming environment where teens build skills, explore opportunities, and thrive.

As Executive Director, you will mentor staff and volunteers, manage budgets, recruit community partners, and advocate for youth development with families and schools. This full-time role requires a four-year degree and strong leadership commitment.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading youth programs and supervising staff/volunteers.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to safe, inclusive environments for teens.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall operation of a broad range of teen programs and educational experiences.
• Plan, develop, implement, coordinate and supervise ATC programs and staff.
• Recruit teens and develop local resources for the Club youth.
• Market the club and its programs to the community.
• Develop a positive climate for youth development and safety.
• Mentor ATC teens by involving them in program management.
• Support teen employment and education exploration.
• Supervise staff/volunteers, evaluate performance, and recruit/train.
