Job summary

The Augusta Teen Center (ATC) at Alfond Youth & Community Center is seeking an executive leader to oversee and grow high-quality teen programs. You will create a safe, welcoming environment, mentor teens, supervise staff and volunteers, and build partnerships with families, schools, and community organizations to support Augusta’s youth.

Lead program development, supervise budgets and operations, and ensure engaging educational experiences aligned with ATC’s values of caring, honesty, respect,

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization coordinating activities.
• At least 1 year of experience managing staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall operation of a broad range of teen programs (Nutrition, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, Physical Education).
• Plan, develop, implement, coordinate and supervise ATC programs and staff; perform related admin duties.
• Recruit teens for programs and develop local resources for the Club.
• Market the club and its programs to the community.
• Foster a positive climate for youth development and ensure safety of the club and members.
• Mentor ATC teens by involving them in management activities.
• Support teens pursuing employment and education/career opportunities.
