Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County seeks an experienced Director to lead Workday Payroll and Accounts Payable across multiple entities. You will oversee bi-weekly payroll, ensure compliance with applicable laws, and optimize vendor payments and AP controls.

The role requires extensive Workday expertise, leadership of payroll/AP teams, and a focus on automation and process improvement to support a growing healthcare workforce.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive payroll/finance roles.
• 5+ years leadership in payroll/AP teams.
• Deep Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, GL, Absence, Benefits experience.
• Experience with multi-entity multi-state payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax, wage and hour laws.
• Experience with 1099/W-9 management.
• Workday Payroll Certification(s) preferred; CPP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll function for a healthcare network across hospitals and clinics.
• Develop payroll strategy to support growth and patient care priorities.
• Direct accounts payable, vendor management, and 1099 filings.
• Own Workday Payroll configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and healthcare regulations.
• Drive automation and process improvements in payroll and AP.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Compliance, and Legal.
